Dietary Recall Analysis

The dietary recall assessment is a basic tool used by nutritionists, dietitians, and other health professionals to examine diet quality not just for individuals but also for populations around the world. The dietary recall assessment is carried out in a detailed interview approach that normally takes 30 to 60 minutes. The information about food processing techniques, ingredients being used in combined recipes and commercially prepared foods, and details of portion size consumed during the day. This helps in getting all variables together for analysis based on what people report versus measured intake values which can then provide insights into potential nutrition problems and diet quality.
